Bespoke Joinery At Hester Court

Bespoke Joinery at Hester Court, Hendon

We’re thrilled to showcase our recent bespoke joinery work at Hester Court, a newly built extra care scheme designed to support older people with additional needs. Situated on the Upper and Lower Fosters estate in Hendon, this development is part of a wider initiative by The Barnet Group to deliver 217 new homes in the area, offering modern, accessible living spaces for the community. 🏡

Hester Court features 75 wheelchair-accessible one- and two-bedroom flats, with thoughtfully designed communal areas where tenants can engage and interact with one another. The scheme is specifically for people over 55 with housing and social care needs, offering them a safe, comfortable environment where they can thrive.

As part of this incredible project, we had the pleasure of working on several bespoke joinery elements that enhance the space and functionality of the building. Our work included:

🔹 Reception Desk – A welcoming, functional space that combines style and accessibility.
🔹 Fireplace Surround – A beautifully crafted feature that adds warmth and character to communal areas.
🔹 Wall Paneling – Tasteful finishes to complement the modern design while adding a touch of elegance.
🔹 Cafe Unit – Designed to create a social hub for residents, encouraging interaction and community spirit.
🔹 Try Shelf – A practical addition to the space that makes life easier for residents and visitors alike.

We’re proud to have contributed to such an important project that will provide quality living spaces for those who need it most. It’s always rewarding to see how thoughtful design and craftsmanship can have a positive impact on the lives of others.
